Week 2- River Valley (0-1) @ South Gallia (0-1)
Thoughts on this Gallia county rivalry?
River Valley leads the all time series 5-2, but South Gallia has won 2 of the last 3 meetings.

Personally I want RV to win. I think it should be a good game plus they will be starting a sophomore QB since their starting QB is out for the season w/ his second concussion in less than 12 months.

RV is looking for their first win tonight since Week 10 of the 2022 season.
I think the 11 game losing streak ends. Raiders win!

South Gallia is where the previous coach got his first win hoping it happens again tonight to coach Mac.

The Raiders are struggling so far. 7 points scored while giving up 84. Does anyone think they can right the ship?

Two rumors: RV leaving the TVC; RV dropping the football program. Either of those have any merit to your knowledge? Hoping for one of those. Of course I’d rather the former as I hate to see any school drop football.sandstorm23 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 11:18 amNo….Larry Bird isn’t walking through that door.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 10:20 pm The Raiders are struggling so far. 7 points scored while giving up 84. Haven’t heard either of these, but nothing would surprise me. If they are looking for a conference where they can better compete, I don’t think they will find one. Maybe they try soccer or lacrosse in the fall instead. They have the enrollment figures for both football and soccer to go-exist, but the participation numbers in extracurricular activities are pretty poor.Ground Buck wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 7:53 pmTwo rumors: RV leaving the TVC; RV dropping the football program. They have had a couple of chances to get the old man back in the program. One of the most popular coaches in school history going clean back to the 1980’s. He would have gotten the numbers back up. But they went for the younger guys every time. We see how that’s working out. Sad.sandstorm23 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 2:03 pmHaven’t heard either of these, but nothing would surprise me.
