State of Gallia Academy Football

Can't find the other thread, so let's get back to it. What can be done to right the ship in Gallipolis?

We have a young inexperienced team lacking size. Give the new coach a couple years and see what he can do.

It just seems like success isn't enough here. I worry that even if the current coach gets the team rolling by next year or the year after, some Joe Blow is going to get his panties in a wad over so and so. It's just frustrating how things run here. I want the town to get behind a coach and it's aggravating that they didn't around the last one and have generally been pretty bad about coaching hires since Woodward went to Wheelersburg.

Adding to what I said previously, our coach has no experience on being a head Coach, he is learning on the job... When a Joe blow comes in in to complain he needs to tell him to hit the road and take his complaining to the AD. Then the AD and school board and community needs to back the coach. Joe blows are everywhere and the coach just needs to deal with them...

I remember the days of Saunders (I think that’s his name) and Bokovitz at GAHS. Those were good days of football.
