Eastern @ Wahama
Thoughts?
I don’t know anything about Wahama but they are unbeaten on the season. Will Eastern bounce back or will Wahama continue to roll. Good luck to both teams.

Really the only comparison we have is Wirt County. Wahama beat them 68-22 and Eastern beat them 47-16.Billy T Kid wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:21 pm Thoughts?

I think Eastern bounces back and wins in a shootout 42-37.

Re: Eastern @ Wahama
Only common opponent is Wirt County. Eastern won 47-16. Wahama won 68-22. Wahama puts up the points but I’m not quite sure the quality of opponent. Doddridge County is 4-1 with their lone loss being Wahama and Maxpreps has the Falcons ranked at 1 in class A. Looks like a matchup of two teams who really want to run the ball. Preps doesn’t have this weeks stats up yet, but the rushing stats for the first four weeks are as follows.
Week 1: 35 for 450 and 5tds
Week 2: 42 for 228 and 2tds
Week 3: 24 for 321 and 5tds
Week 4: 31 for 359 and 6tds
Main rusher through 4 weeks had 35 attempts for 681 and 12 TDs. 3 others have over 200 yards on the year.

You went into much more depth than my post. Respect sir. Hope Eastern comes out on top to represent the TVC Hocking.raindelay wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:59 pm Only common opponent is Wirt County. Eastern will have to try and contain the Lambert boy. Watched a couple of games, and the boy is quick and fast. If he finds a hole, he's gone. The Doddridge game was a little closer than the score because of two pick 6s by lambert with 2 minutes in the game, but like Eastern until the Waterford game, both schedules have been cake.

Don't think Wahama has a chance. West Virginia is much weaker overall in football. Wahama hasn't played anyone. I'd say the Eagles bounce back after the tough loss last week. 48-31 Eagles...

Re: Eastern @ Wahama
If Eastern continues to stay with the same three plays they’ve ran the past few seasons I expect Wahama to hang with them. If Wahama does anything creative on offense it could give Eastern fits. If Eastern can just line up and beat them with talent, effort and grit by the players then we’ll be okay. As always, go Eagles!Billy T Kid wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:21 pm Thoughts?

Wouldn't mind seeing Eastern getting exposed again this week. They need to be humbled!

Watched Wahama scrimmage Williamstown earlier this year, and Wahama scored at will. Super athletic and solid up front. Just a scrimmage but they were very impressive. The Lambert kid is the best player in Class A. I expect Wahama to win this one.

The way this one is playing out, I must agree. No one in the TVC Hocking would do well against Whoa Momma.Titletown TVC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 2:42 pmI would say Wolf Creek should be gald they aint playin Whoamomma this yearWolfcreek78 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 11:13 am Don't think Wahama has a chance.
