Shaq? Do you really want to continue Cleveland's legacy of losing? This is right up there with Andre Rison. How about Leon Powe from the Celtics and whatever it takes to get Turkoglu away from the Magic. Weaken your foes and strengthen yourself.

d&c, do you really think that powe will help cleveland in any way but as a backup. it definitely doesnt cripple the celtics. would love to see shaq in a cavs uniform. shaq got kobe over the hump, shaq got wade over the hump and just maybe the diesel will bring some much needed inside help to james. KAZAAMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

I agree with qualified101. Yeah, Shaq is not the same Shaq he was while in LA, but he can still provide some of the things that Cleveland needs.

Re: What should the Cavs do this offseason?
There are tons of options out there for teams willing to spend money which Dan Gilbert and the Chinese investors have said they have no problem doing. A lot of teams are in big financial trouble, some of them even had to borrow money to meet payroll last year. The Cavaliers realize that it will be nearly impossible to lose money with Lebron James around so they'll spend plenty to keep making more. There have been talks with almost every team in the league looking at players like Amare Stoudemaire, Chris Bosh (told Toronto he won't resign), Shaq, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson, Gerald Wallace, Marcus Camby, Michael Redd, Charlie Villenueva, and many more. The top free agent targets for the Cavs include Boozer (in a sign and trade), Kidd and Wallace if they'll take pay cuts. A good place to get Cavs info is www.realcavsfans.com they even have a few posters are within the organization.

this team doesnt need a drastic makeover. bring in bosh, maybe redd who proved in the olympics that he can still shoot, and maybe andre miller to run point. did you say chinese investors? bring in yao, baby. the cavs will have an inside game then.
