Regardless of how you feel about him or what he did, I think the biggest roadblock is where do you play him? An average QB who is a great athlete but has been out of the game for a couple of years is a big question mark. He will want to play QB, command big dollars and start at that. I really don't see a market for him in the NFL right now.

Detroit or Oakland would be a good place. They have nothing to lose... Carolina could use him in a wildcat set-up. Imagine adding him in the backfield with Williams or Stewart behind that O-line... The Giants could do the same. He needs a team that can think outside the box but if he insists on being greedy then i hear there is a need for dog wardens lol....

From Yahoo!Sports

ASHBURN, Va. (AP)—Michael Vick’s agent says there’s “no chance” his client will sign with the Washington Redskins.

Joel Segal visited the Redskins at training camp on Tuesday but said the trip was not Vick-related. He said he was checking in on some of his Redskins clients, including Jason Campbell, DeAngelo Hall and LaRon Landry.

Segal also told ESPN 980 radio that said “a lot of teams” are interested in signing the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback. Segal said he was optimistic that Vick would get a job soon, calling it “not a matter of if, but when.”

Vick was conditionally reinstated by the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last month after the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback completed a 23-month sentence for running a dogfighting ring.

Tony Dungy (his NFL-appointed advisor) said on ESPN Radio today that he thinks Vick is close to signing with a team and thought it would be announced by week's end.

I hope Vick goes some where and does great...I believe the guy has done the time for his crime and deserves another chance...I mean come on people...Pac Man has had chance after chance...and look at all the guys playing that have been arrested for drugs or DUI's or have beaten their wife or their girlfriend...I mean don't get me wrong...what he did was HORRIBLE...but he did time in PRISON...and with a guy like Tony Dungy behind him its possible he has straightened his life out.

GO STEELERS!!!

I think he should be on a team but that team should not count on him being a productive QB this year. Could be a great option. Many teams in the NFL have a hard time scoring inside the 5 yard line. One thing to think about now is that he is playing for money since he has gone bankrupt. So this is his last chance for a big payday. He should have grown up from his days as Ron Mexico then the dog fighting.

Just like the list of steriods in baseball is out there are many NFL players have been to dog fighting. What would teams do if they knew about their players were also part of this. When it first came out some players talked about it then they all shut up. Clinton Portis was one who spoke out.

I would like to see the NFL have a rule that if convicted of a crime a certain % of the players future salaries go to prevent the crime from happening again. Especially players who get a DUI.

He won't be a factor this year. The Commissioner won't even rule on his reinstatement until week 6. The ruling may be he can't play until next year or it may be he can't play until the week after. Either way, a chunk of the season will be in the books and McNabb won't be pulled by then unless he is absolutley horrible. I think Philly learned their lesson about that last year. If Philly doesn't want McNabb, I'd take him in Cleveland in a minute. All he does is winn. Spare me the "he never won the big game." At least he made the show. Cleveland passed on him to draft that imposter from Kentucky who couldn't throw a party if he had to.

Will Vick change if he wants paid he will or he can follow the lead of PacMan Jones. For the owner to put a lot into talking a lot with Vick he just needs to talk to Art Blank who did the same before giving him the big contract in Atlanta
I still am not sure if he is a QB but he is player with elite abilities. He can be a player if he wants to contribute without being the main man.
He now has to go out to be part of the team without getting in trouble and hanging around people who will bring him down. Also no more changing his name and going out as Ron Mexico again.
