Very hard nose coach. He was a good coach for the Mavs, they should have kept him around.

Coach K would be a good coach in the NBA, he's to loyal to Duke though.

Jeff Van-Gundy needs a job. Avery Johnson I think would be a good fit for the Cavs.

Any owner to hire Mike Brown would be foolish after his failures in Cleveland. Moreover the failure to be a head coach and turn a good team into a championship team. Lack of offensive sets and overall coaching.

^^ Either of the 2 would be good. I like a guy who has been away from the game for a couople years. Time to look at other's mistakes as well as their own.

couldn't agree with you more... if someone like Phil Jackson Pat Riley Jerry Sloan George Karl had that team they would probably still be in the playoffs

You should ask who is going to be coaching in Chicago because that is where Lebron is going. :-D

That could be the million dollar question. The coaching could change where ever LBJ ends up.

And Chicago is in no hurry to name a new one. They are waiting on Lebron's decision. I originally thought he would stay in Cleveland and today's announcement leads me to believe they are playing to him to hire his own coach. But Lebron is a clever business guy; he will leave ALL his options open. Watch the coaching carousel- where there is an extended coaching opening, the stakes are high. Lebron will select his next team, not the other way around. If he stays in Cleveland, it will not be an extended max deal but a three-year type.

Personally, I'd like to see Avery Johnson come to Cleveland. After the success he had in Dallas, I don't understand why he hasn't landed another head coaching job yet. But I think the better question might be what coach worth anything would agree to coach the Cavs without knowing that LBJ is coming back?

Right or wrong I could see Lebron having say in the coaching decision wether it be directly or indirectly. IMO he will make his decision on where to play based on his role and the coaches philosophies. I can't see him going somewhere with the same role he has now in Cleveland. Do all everything with alot of teammates watching. That is not the way to a long career in the NBA especially when so much of his game relies on athleticism. His legs will be dead at 30 at the pace he is on now. Much like Kobe did, he will dictate that he has a team around him.

With that said I think Cleveland better get a coach on board pretty quickly and start revamping the system and teaching the Cavs how to play "the right way" like a team.

Lebron right now probably is pretty much dictating what he wants done and that's what he did last year to management, they listened and it didn't work. No athlete is bigger than the team (even though the cavs have grossed huge amounts of money just for having Lebron over the last few years) and management needs to make their own call. If LBJ wants a championship he should listen to people "smarter" than him or he'll never get one. There have been many perennial all-pros in the past who didn't get a ring and he could be the next. Maybe he ought to talk to Bill Russell (Celtics 11 time champion center-coach) and the old man can explain a few things to him about "team". I'm out .....
