Good tough run for my Celtics. But in the end, the NBA got it's wish and annointed the rapist with his fifth title and MVP. The league gift-wrapped Gasol to the Lakers two years ago, ensuring Kobe got his titles. Who will they send to them next? Celtic to the end. I HATE THE LAKERS!!!!!!

Say what you want about FT discrepancy but often times the more aggressive team will be the team getting to the foul line. Add to that the Celtics sending LA to the line in the last minute or so just adds to the discrepancy.

lakers are lucky plain and simple kobe didnt deserve the mvp trophy since when does the mvp of the finals goes 6-24 pau gasol deserved that trophy. if kendrick perkins wouldve played youd see KG yelling again at the top of his lungs. and comparing kobe to magic ridicolous magic will always be the best laker, and kobe will never be as good as micheal jordan

ok so kendrick perkins not playing had no effect on boston losing, if he plays they win boston wouldnt have let up 23 offensive rebounds to the lakers.

Part of the game. If a player gets injured then someone has to step up and take his place and no one from the Celtics did that. It brings to mind the old adage, If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump it's a$$. lol

Also Kobe didn't get the Finals MVP for just his game 7 performance. It was for the awesome performance he put on in the entire series.

Lakers true dominance showed in game 7. With Kobe having one of his worst performances of the playoffs they still win. If kobe plays how he did in any other game the win by 20+. Kind of Hurts doesn't it Daniel?
Bynums messed up knee is alot more significant then Kendrick Perkins being out. Perkins is a nobody. Meanwhile Bynum is the player that the T-Wolves were trying to trade Kevin Garnett for in 07-08. I think Bynum playing hurt had alot more significance then a lousy Center. Also Boston Has alot more Depth at C then the Lakers so it didnt really have much of an impact all it really resulted in was an excuse to why they lost. If your looking for an excuse look at Ray Allen. He helped the lakers out more than Lamar Odom did for most of the playoffs.

My final thought is this.....my team played .500 ball since Christmas and were all but given up for dead. Miami came into the playoffs on a hot streak and many in-the-know types thought they would lose in five to the Heat and D-Wade. They made a lot of younger, more athletic teams look confused on their run. And they came within ten minutes of winning it all with team ball and grit. Thanks for a great season.
