Ohio State's Justin Fields was drafted by the Chicago Bears as the eleventh choice in the first round of the NFL draft. Fields was the fourth quarterback chosen.
Fields was originally expected to be drafted second behind Clemson's Trevor Lawrence, but Justin's draft stock has been falling since inexplicably bad games against Indiana and Northwestern. Also revelation that Fields suffers from a mild form of epilepsy did not bolster his status. That and the taint of Dwayne Haskins likely hurt Fields.
Many opinions hold that Fields is not NFL ready. He is a generational athlete with a cannon for an arm but needs more experience in reading defenses and overall decision making on the field. At least with the Bears he can sit behind Andy Dalton for a while to learn and grow instead of being needed to be the starter on day one.

Dalton is washed up and Fields will be the starter by mid season.

Would have liked to go to Browns vs. Bears, and hopefully watch him play. Buy Jimmy and Dee have priced me out.
