If you guys read my posts you know I'm optimistic. Has Votto produced like we've wanted him to the last couple years? No. However, I can't even wrap my mind around the fact of him putting on another teams jersey. Just doesn't sit right with me. So, what I'm hoping is that the Reds declined his option getting them out of that possible $20M contract and potentially giving him a 1 year $X amount of money so he can have a proper sendoff tour with the team he's been with his whole career. I feel like that's only right. Does he have to have the majority of playing time? No. But get him a game or so each series like they should on a sendoff tour and everyone wins. Votto is my childhood player growing up as I am younger than some others here so I will more than likely shed a tear the day he retires! Lol

Not for 20 m I think he's done any way he's in Spain they have bats pitching is a must, start where ever your want they have to come off some cash Reds don't get me wrong very good player but to much money over to many years , money has ruined the game plus they don't owe
