Jake Bates (Arkansas) who had not attempted a field goal since high school hits a game-winner from 64 yards out with seconds left to give the Panthers the win. AJ McCarron (Bama) had given St. Louis the lead with 0:49 seconds left with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Marcell Ateman (Oklahoma State) followed by a one-point conversion pass to Jake Sutherland (Morehead State).
