The Indians (5-3) swept the doubleheader against the Redbirds (3-5). In the nightcap, Billy McKinney and Matt Gorski (Indiana) each blasted their first bomb of the season. Gorski had two, two, scored two runs, and drove in three. McKinney drove in run, and scored two, with one hit, the homer, for the winners. Nick Gonzales (New Mexico State) had two hits with one RBI. Joshua Palacios (Auburn) and Grant Koch (Arkansas) both drove in a run. For Memphis Luken Baker (TCU) had two RBI. Former Cleveland farm hand, José Fermín had two steals, two hits, and one RBI.
