Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

The Stallions (2-0) take care of business with their seven-point win over a tough Panthers (1-1) squad earlier today. Matt Corral (Ole Miss) and Adrian Martinez (Kansas State) led the offense from their quarterback slot by completing 13-27 passes for 141 yards. The combo combined to rush for 93 yards to keep the Panthers defense on their toes. Ricky Person Jr. (North Carolina State) carries the rock just 7 times, good for 14 yards and one big touchdown. The star of the game for the winners was kicker, Chris Blewitt (Pittsburgh). He had four field goals. Lorenzo Burns (Arizona) led the defense with seven tackles. A.J. Thomas (Western Michigan) had a pick. For the Panthers, E.J. Perry (Brown) had an interception and a touchdown pass on 20-33 passing. He totaled 203 yards. Marcus Simms (West Virginia) had the touchdown catch all in all he had three catches and 96 yards. Jake Bates (Arkansas) easily hit a 62-yard field goal and one from 52 yards. Frank Ginda (San Jose State) led all tacklers with fourteen. Keith Gipson Jr. (Mary-Hardin Baylor) had an interception.
