The defense out-scores the offense. You have a 21-7 lead in the 3rd qtr and can't hold it. Miss 2 or 3 big pass plays wide open. Yea I hate to say it but Johnny Cleveland. If that doesn't work, another coaching change and 10 more years of futility. Man it's tough to be a Browns fan.

I love it how people say Hoyer has a weak arm and under throws deep balls, today he shoots two balls out of a cannon 10 yards over the receivers head and they get nothing! I have always said I would rather they under throw a little a get big yards than overthrow and get nothing.I thought the Browns got a bad break on the next to last possession when they overruled Gordon dropped the ball taking away a first down and making them punt, sure he dropped the ball alright because the defender was raking his arm but no flag for that, then they flag the Browns defender for interference the next possession which was a good call btw.Browns receivers dropped a lot of balls and Hoyer wasn't good either and neither was the running game which means the line wasn't good. The defense played great all day, then when they need a stop the most they can't get it,just a typical day on the Lake.Bring on Johnny. You know what's scary dazed ole fast Jimmy might interpret this as not improving as the season goes on and just can them all this year, then Johnny has to learn another new offense in between all the partying

What a shameful display of ineptitude. Defense, offense both share in this debauchery. This was a total team effort and the result was a big, fat F. I said from the get-go that Johnny was not an NFL QB and that was as rough a start as any rookie ever had. If you're committed to him it should have been a fresh start next season. The first thing the Browns need to do is exclude Haslam from the Draft room. Even Jerry Jones had folks that told him he couldn't draft Mr. Midget Football. Now we're stuck with him. I held out hope as the Browns started out better than expected. Bad teams are exposed late in the season and this team drew the benefit of playing the super weak NFC South. Now itis apparent they are far from being a good team. So once again, here we are. Another late season collapse and no discernible path forward. Are you drafting ANOTHER QB? I'm beyond disillusioned. I am despondent. I need a Dr. Phil intervention! Please help me stop loving a bad team!

Hoyer deserves better.

Cleveland should cut their losses and just release Johnny "JV" Football.

He might catch on with a CFL or arena team.

the browns have had 21 different qb's just since the came back to Cleveland.----------now they have another qb controversy again. ------------stay tuned. this should be another zany off season for them. great win by the bengals, they have all the pieces, they just need to be able to put the puzzle together on a consistent basis. just like I think ohio state can beat bama if the play like they did against wisky. I think the bengals can beat Denver if they play like they did sunday. one thing for certain the afc north is the toughest division again in the nfl.i like the browns new coach. but question the moxy of the browns, they laid down when they got down, the boos were very evident in the 1st quarter, and the joint was losing fans likes there was a bomb threat.for the life of me I can't figure why the browns struggle like they do year in and out. but with 21 different qb's and the constant coaching changes hard to find any stability. and I can't figure why my bengals clam up in prime time games and playoff games. I'm goin out on a limb and say marvin lewis looks like a deer in the headlights again Monday night with the broncos. the bengals need to get off the snide , and beat a good bronco team, then hopefully get revenge over the steelers and be hitting on all cylinders when the playoffs start.

A run first QB will never make it in the NFL. Russell Wilson is as close as one can be and he still has the ability to sit in the pocket and pick defenses apart.

Johnny Football will have a very short shelf life in the NFL.

What could be worse than watching this disfunctional organization go about it's business? It's waking up this morning and discovering that mental giant Bernie Kosar agrees with me. He rips the front office for lack of a winning culture. Of course he is sharpening his axe after being disposed of by the Browns over his color(less) commentary. Still, the blind squirrel finds an acorn and he hit the nail on the head this time.

I am not a conspiracy theorist by nature but I can't help but wonder if putting Manziel in as the starter was a deliberate ploy by Pettine. He doesn't have the gravitas to buck the owner/GM. I'm sure he knows they are invested in JF as a first round pick. So, instead of protecting him and shielding him from the harsh reality of starting in the NFL on a depleted roster, they threw him to the wolves. OK, Mr. Haslam, you want Johnny Football, here you go. Not that Hoyer was lighting it up but, as a veteran, he could handle the rigors of playing without your trump cards in a lost season better than Johnny Walk-on-Water . I wonder if the coach isn't sending a message to the front office that your Three-Ring Master of Ceremonies just isn't going to cut it but hey, here you go. Enjoy! Pettine is yet another in a long line of coaches just happy to get a shot and he can't really buck the system. But until the NFL demands performance standards from it's owners, this is just another slap in the face of loyal Browns fans, who have to ask, "Why should I care?" Wish my team was under the same leadership model as the Green Bay Packers. :122247

The Browns playoff hopes were flushed after the Indy game esp.with Buffalo and the other North teams winning this past weekend, Hoyer can get you some wins and is a great backup but not the man to get to the promised land IMO,I think it was time to find out what they had with a first round pick.3 games is not much to gauge how good some one is going to be at such a tough position with little help around him.John Elway was even worse then Manziel in his first game and we see how that turned out,but I doubt Manziel will make it,he just seems too small to be a pocket passer and thats what you got to be in this league

Also I beleive Montana was worse in his first start and had to be replaced like Elway in his,but I don't see Manziel ending up like they did, although I would love to see it for the Browns sake.

Typical Browns game! Defense plays pretty good most the game then the offense finally gets a big play and some momentum then the defense lets them go right back down the field,I figured they should have went for it on 4th and 13 the way the defense looked the previous possession probably tired from being out there so much and sure enough, game set match, the defense can't hold.Back in the cold dark woods wandering around for the Brownies.Team not improving as season goes on,reason given for Chud being canned last year, what could fast Jimmy be thinking :aaaaa4t
