Rough one last night.

One positive thing was that when Paul janish was pitching he hit 92 on the radar gun. Not bad for someone who doesn't pitch regularly, but he was the closer for Rice in college.

The guy can hit and we need his bat more than his arm. He is more productive at the plate than he is on the mound.

I'd love to see the Reds in the postseason but let's not get too giddy here. It's only mid-May. Let's see where they are on Labor Day. If their pitching holds up they have a real chance.

This is ddefinately a different reds team... One major factor,.... HUSTLE!!!!!!! these guys are busting their tail's in games and im loving in. Rosales brings engery and excitement to the team and when you got horses like Phillips, Votto, Nix, and Bruce and a bullpen that is greatly improved, your going to win ball games! every player has been a contributor this season and lets hope the bullpen keeps up the good work... Dusty definately needs to use Arthur Rhodes more often out of the bullpen... other than that, they have the best road record and road era in the majors and that will win you big games. Bunting more, stealing more and crushing the ball and hustling!!! im loving it... GO REDS!

Today I wore my Rollin on the River T-shirt from the 1990 championship team. It has Barry Larkin Jose Rijo and Reggie Sanders on it. Summer is going to be FUN.
