This after he said he realizes he was a jackazz and didn't take the game serious enough? He also said if he didn't change he would be doing something else...

dazed&confused wrote:No secret I hated the Manziel pick from the get-go. I'm amazed the so-called experts couldn't see this train wreck coming from a mile away. I like Josh Gordon's talent but it does no good if he can't make it to the field and can't go all out when he is playing. I cut Johnny and Josh today. Take my lumps and move on. Gilbert is in my doghouse. He is going to go through a season of hell next year. I assign Whitner to him as a mentor. I keep Shaw, I make an offer to Hoyer and I draft a QB in the later rounds. And I send a message that the culture of this team will change.
100% Agreement here!!!

so with the 12th and 19th picks, what do the Browns do? I know this is going to sound crazy but if I can i put together a package of these two picks to move up and get....wait for it....Famous Jameis Winston. Not a big fan of him as a college QB but he turns into a laser-focused machine on the field. Even if he is immature (sound familiar?), I take him and coach him up. OK, let the slings and arrows begin. :122248

I agree Winston would be another Gordon IMO, once he gets out of star player friendly Tallahassee Lord knows what he will get into, he would probably get you some wins on the field though if you could keep him on the field and not suspended or in jail.

I stand by my assessment. Johnny CAN'T play NFL football. If he could, I wouldn't give a sh!t if he parachuted naked off the Empire State Building. :o And I remember a few years ago Big Ben was almost run out of Pittsburgh because of his off-field antics. Yes, I'd take a flyer on Winston.

I thought Big Ben said awhile back he would retire as a Steeler, guess money will change peoples minds. He will be 33 in March so his window won't be open much longer, although Peyton Manning is 38 and still going strong. With Cleveland's constant line problems I can't see him making it that long.I just can't see him in a Browns uni,but the thought is intriguing.

Ben's agent may be making noise. He isn't going anywhere. Cleveland will get a journeyman-type QB. Manziel and Shaw will be on the roster. Looks like another 4-12 season in the making! :|

Good Free agent QBs will never come to Cleveland. We can't seem to draft one or develop one so here we are. Don't think I'll ever see another really good Browns team in my remaining lifetime....but I do remember when they were good! :122249

I guess its official...Shanahan is gone. Somehow I don't feel too bad about that. But Jimmy has to check out...make that butt out.
