I hate the Bengals, but I do like the Reds. If their young arms can come thru, they have the offense to challenge for the division.

I really think Cincinnati has a good chance at doing quite well this year. They do have a new manager after all. It's time that Cincy had a great year, and hopefully this year will be that year.

If they want to increase run production they need to trade Dunn, he will never help them in bringing in runs because he doesn't get all fastballs down the middle of the plate to smack out of the park, if Dunn can start hitting for average as well as power then he may be worth while, but right now he is worthless to the Reds when he comes up to the plate

if the reds can stay healthy and the young starters pitch well, the reds will make the postseason

The Reds entire bullpen except Weathers is horrible.

Saarloos - more like sure sucks
Coutlangus - more like couldn't pitch a tent
Coffey - he probably should cough cuz he chokes all the time
Stanton - needs to lose about 70 pounds.

Saarloos is now a Oakland A....

SPEAKING OF Oakland A's......rumors and reports going around that the A's and Reds are talking about Joe Blanton. Report is the A's would want either Bailey or Cueto.....Votto, and a 3rd player.....

Uhhhh, ok. Lets see, he hit 40 home runs, had over 100 rbi's, and scored over 100 runs, what more can you asked for?

I wish he wouldn't strikeout 200 times a year and play at least mediocre defense.

It would be nice if he hit for a better average, but sometimes you have to take the bitter with the sweet.

and he struck more than any player in baseball last year, if he puts the ball in play and quit trying to go yard at every bat that would help more

Trap, Dunn was actually 3rd in K's last year behind Ryan Howard(199k's) and Dan Uggla(165k's). He does need to cut down on his K's but we need his 40/100 in this lineup. If the bullpen improves Cincy can contend in the central.

I'd like to see Joe Blanton. He's put up decent numbers and would equate nicely to the NL.

Blanton is not worth Bailey, Votto, Cueto, or Bruce, no matter what combination. However, for some A-AA guys I'd be all over that trade.
