Re: 2023 Cincinnati Reds
Well, it had to come to an end sooner or later. Get the win tomorrow and win the series.

I read an article in which the writer said that he thought the Reds would be buyers rather than sellers before the trade deadline this year.

Levi Stoudt got the call up and will be on the mound today against the Braves. Winning streak was fun but it’s over, now need to win the series. Starting pitching has been a joke outside of Abbot.

Re: 2023 Cincinnati Reds
If the Reds are going to make it to the playoffs and then the World Series, they better get rid of Bell. He is not a good manager.
He can't keep a lineup for more than 1-2 games before he has to move people around. Go check out the lineups of the Braves, Dodgers, Astros and some of the other teams that have been making the playoffs consistently the last few years. Lineup stays the same night after night. No jockeying guys around worrying about the lefty on lefty or righty on righty matchup. He manages like a little league coach and that he acts like he needs to play all of his players for the week so that their parents won't get mad at him.
He can't manage a pitching staff along with Johnson. The other night he brought in his closer in a non-closing situation. He used to do it with Iglesias and Iglesias even admitted that he didn't like that. Those guys get in a different mindset when they come in to close a game compared to when he just brings them in to pitch in a game that they can't save. Then he ends up throwing a bunch of pitches and then Bell won't pitch him the next day. Just plain dumb!!!
Also, how long do they stick with Votto? How do you keep a player like Encarnacion-Strand down in the Minors and continue to leave Votto up and hit around .200. No way Votto's stamina will be there through July and August in the heat of summer. Get ES up there now. If you want to keep Votto on then get rid of a catcher. Only team in the MLB that carries 3 catchers.
