4 game losing streak, ugh.

The past 4 games have been hard to watch, especially tonights. We are making very average pitchers look like Cy Young winners and tonight was a prime example. We are swinging at pitches in the dirt and then watching belt high fast balls go by with our bats on our shoulders. Unreal. Only Presley, McCutchen and Walker show any signs of being major league hitters. Alvarez is a head case. He is just guessing at the plate at what they are going to throw him next.

Our pitching is showing signs of wear. It has carried us as far as they can. McDonald struggled tonight but still gave a great effort with what was not near his best stuff. Hopefully, Karstans will return from the DL and give the staff a fresh arm. If we don't get the bats going soon, all hopes of a winning season will be lost. Needless to say I am very disappointed with our offense and we can't depend on 1 or 2 hitters to come thru.

Time to break out the green weanie.

Glad to see us get a split in Philly. This series could have easily been a 3-1 win for us or the Phillies.

Big weekend series in St Louie. We need to win the series and prove that we can play with the big boys in their own yard. Sadly, Burnett and McDonald won't get to pitch this weekend.
