Re: 2010 REDS
Leave Chapman down in AAA. DO NOT BRING HIM UP!!! The Reds have a ton of Depth when it comes to picthing. There are 3 other guys that can be used effectivly out of the pen before they need to even think about Chapman.

I was hoping the White Sox would have kept struggling cause they are prime team to sell off their talent for younger prospects. I was thinking we could have came in and grabbed Matt Thorton (36.2 Innings 49 K's 2.70 ERA) but they turned it around so that went out the window.
Relievers I think could be available:
Kerry Wood (Either a huge steal or a huge bust)
Joe Beimel (Doubt it as Colorado is still in the race and we are set on Leftys)
Brandon Lyon
Matt Lindstrom (Closer for the Astros)
Kyle Farnsworth
Jerry Blevins (Only 26 and I dont think Oakland is looking to part ways with him)
Brad Ziegler
Heath Bell (Padres closer 1.88 ERA, despite the fact San Diego is in 1st place he could be dealt just depends on what they want in return)
David Aardsma (Has taken a step back after having a great year last year)
Matt Capps (Depends on if the Nats want Drew Storen to start closing now or later)
Re: 2010 REDS
Reds signed vet Russ Springer he may help out of the pen 5 teams where looking at him !!!

Re: 2010 REDS
Volquez to start tomorrow; well actually today (since it's past midnight).
I truly hope he isnt coming back too soon.
Reds rotation as of today: (in no particular order)
Arroyo
Volquez
Cueto
Wood
Leake
No Harang or Bailey.

Arroyo has proven he is the number 1 guy on this staff. I think Wood and Leak are going to do just fine in the second half.
I look for Homer to go to the bullpen when he comes back and Harang will work back in the rotation but he will be the 4-5 guy and Leak and wood will split starts with him.
I REALLY think the Reds pitching is gonna get better in the second half.
If they can put it all together this might be a magical year in the Queen City!!!
They have a little swagger now and they have the right attitude.....
Re: 2010 REDS
^^^^^ Definitely have one in Rhodes and Cordero did look like he was trying to bust them inside with heaters a little better than he did in the first half.
