The new kids on the block the Cleveland Gladiators went to Columbus and left with a 59-57 win. 15,946 Fans showed up in Columbus to watch this battle and most must have left in a sour mood being the hometown team now stands 0-3, while the visitors improved to 3-0.
Raymond Philyaw found Robert Redd on a 17-yard touchdown strike late in the game, giving the Gladiators a 59-51 lead late in the game.
Matt Nagy took Columbus right down firld and points went on the board when Derek Lee scored on a 33 yard pass play. A two-point try failed leaving the score,59-57.
Mark Lewis recovered the onside kick to all but lock up the win.
Philyaw finished 19-of-28 for 209 yards and five touchdowns while, Matt Nagy ended the night 24-of-35 for a game-high 351 yards and seven touchdowns.
