A pure talent. It is getting hard to find worthy applicants for the Hall in the steroids era. That should take none of the luster off a well-deserved accolade for Barry.

and whats bad for Reds fans that did get to see him play and watching our shortstops we have had since we have been a little spoiled, from Consception(sp) to Larkin the Reds went a long time with great shortstop play.
