How can you call Minnesota a flop? Are they not in the NFC north lead?

I would think San Diego would be the obvious choice.... they actually didn't have any real losses team-wise...

Besides possibly the best defensive player in the NFL, Merriman.

I think I would go with Jacksonville, Green Bay, Cleveland.

To me, the Charger offense is the big disappointment. But I would definitely put the Jags as my #2 flop.

My Seahawks. It's almost like coach Holmgren has already given up and is packing his stuff for retirment. If they draft another 160 lb corner I'm going to scream. Also hurting at the line and WR positions. Keeping Shaun Alexander over Steve Huchinson was the stupidest move in team history. On the list.....Dallas.

with Romo right behind him.

Romo? No.

Replace Wade with Garrett.

If you havent noticed, the line is what gives him trouble in the big games. (ex., NYG in the playoffs)

i can pretty well say i have noticed quite a bit. the biggest thing is he can't win the big game. over throwing guys by 10 feet when he has time that is hardly the lines fault.was it the lines fault when he fumbled the field goal snap a couple of years ago? how many times has he mis handled the snap out of the gun?i'm not saying the line play has been great at all times but he makes way to many unforced errors.i was pullin hard for him to succeed and he still may be able to i hope so he needs to get his priorites straight.

Some of the overthrowing had to do with the cast. Witten should have caught the one that got INT, he stumbled and didnt get a chance to get up and get it. IMO, without the stumble, he would have caught it.

The mishandled snap, really? Goodness. Are you forgetting that he got the team in position for that? He played well that game, going 17 for 29 and a TD.

hammerdown wrote:he had no cast the last game also he has mishandled snaps in more games than one. he has always had trouble with snaps so can't blame that on a cast either.

yeah Witten could have caught it if he was 12 feet tall.

It was his first game WITHOUT the cast. Therefore, yes, some of them can be credited to the cast.

Also, he was going against the best defense in the NFL. If you want someone better than Tony Romo, then call the Pats and ask them for a trade. Seriously, Romo is a top 5 QB in the NFL. Period. Youre not a true Cowboys fan if you want to get rid of him. Who would you rather have? Brady and Peyton? Yes. Eli? No. Rivers? No. Big Ben? No. Cutler? No. Favre? No. Palmer? No.

Eli Rivers Big Ben Cutler all of these are better. any TRUE cowboy fan knows this.

the clips i have provided shows his numerous 08 blunders that have nothing to do with a cast or the no.defense.i guess you didn't watch them. :122248

oh yeah who got it done romo or big ben? ;-)

send romo packing!!!!!!!!

Cutler is inconsistent. Eli is the product of a great line. Big Ben is always hurt, say what you want about him being tough, BULL. I am a true Cowboys fan, and IMO, Romo is better than all of them.

Also, who got it done? Really? So, Crazy Legs Fitzpatrick is better than Campbell? Because the Bengals did win today, you know.

Why watch the highlights? Ive watched every game thus far.

We will see tonight. I think his true colors will show. He may play awful, but that doesnt mean he is an awful QB. I want to see his character. It is a must-win game.

Also, I want to see who he throws to tonight. Going up against the best team in the NFL, I want to see if his chemistry with T.O. can come back. I want to see if PC and Roy get touches. Thats what I wanna see. Also, a win.

Validation? I dont need it.

He has played well throughout the course of his career so far. Im willing to continue to give him a few more chances. He deserves them.

Am I wrong? If Tony Romo wasnt the Cowboys QB, it is hard to say where the team would be. They still have a shot at the playoffs. Need to beat the Giants tonight.

hammerdown wrote:i'll agree he is better than anyone backing him up for sure. i'm not saying he doesn't have the physical ability to be a good QB.i just wonder about his football iq sometimes. i think he forces the ball way to much. he is a better qb outside the pocket and he can make things happen. i wouldn't mind see him pulling it down and running it a little more.he has terrible luck in big time situations. i also think they need to run it a little more and they had that set up great untill jones went down.

when he is hot he is as good as anybody in the NFL but when is bad he is as bad as anybody in the NFL.

I agree with a lot of things said here.

The Boys offense should start with Barber and Jones, but Jones is done for the year.

When he is playing well, he is easily a top three QB. However, when something goes wrong, it seems like more things just continue to go wrong. Nothing comes easy with him.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Denver lost its last two and San Diego won the AFC West at 8-8.
The AFC and NFC West are easily the most pathetic divisions in the NFL.....

The Cowboys by far. They were suppose to sweep threw the regular season and be the super bowl favorites, now fighting for a playoff spot.
Browns. I said it last year, 10-6 season, I think they got that with a easier schedule compared to this years.
