Don't the Bengals have a bye week? Benson is only like 30 yards ahead so yeah that may be an easy way to pass him if he isn't playing. Not trying to come of like a di*k.

It's still early, but the Vikes are definitely passing a lot more this season than previous ones.

thats the problem...No way if you have the best back in the league, should you throw 51 times. Even with Brett Favre

As good as they are, neither one could rush for over a 100 yards against the Steelers. ;-)

If the Vikings are going to have Farve throw the ball over 50 times a game and under utilize Peterson then Benson may if he stays healthy have more yards. Peterson can make up yards quick just with one carry of 80 yards or more. That is why he has to have run the ball at least 20 times a game.

Farve had to throw it 50 times against the Steelers. The Steeler's D was stuffing Peterson all day. He had 1 good run, but other than that, he was kept in check.

AP had an amazing hit on William Gay while running the ball that was awesome.

I think as the season wears on you will see Peterson get more and more carries and Benson will get less as the Bengals open up the playbook!! Benson is showing that he can be the back that Chicago thought he could be but I don't think he will lead the league this year. :122245

Question ,candy store. Best in the league ? Does that mean the back with the most yards at the end of regular season ? If it does, Benson stands a chance. What else can you judge a back on ???
