It's not about how good he is, Dana is a money man and he knows people are gonna tune into watch Kimbo fight people who can't stand him and hate him will watch and hope for a fail and people who love him will watch to hope he wins.

I understand what you are saying about Kimbo he hasn't been in exciting fights and in fact he hasn't been in many fights. But like I said I believe it's just based on money purposes. I do think Kimbo could do well don't get me wrong he will not be UFC Heavyweight Champ well but he could contend against top fighters if you give him time and the right team to train with. The Houston fight did show me something and didn't show me a lot at the same time it showed me he has improved everywhere on his game and that he is willing to learn and take chances but then again the competition was against Houston no disrespect intended but he has no game what so ever all he can do is stand up and brawl.

I dont think Kimbo would even come close to competing with the middle of the Heavyweight chain. Guys like Cro Cop, Rothwell, Pat Barry, etc would destroy him. Especially Barry who would make Kimbo's knees explode with his leg kicks. Kimbo is too slow to compete with the strikers and to small to compete with the grapplers in todays heavyweight division. Kimbo is a nice guy, I root against him though so his idiotic fans on the internet (youtube and such) will shut up about him being the best in the UFC.

Kimbo needs to look at trying boxing not MMA, cause when you get him on this back he looks like a turtle on its back

I hope Meathead knocks Kimbo out. Im picking Rua for this fight. No matter what I think it will be a good fight between those two.

That would end so much worse for Kimbo, he would get his @ss handed to him over and over again as MMA Boxing and actual Boxing are two completely different things.

Whats up with all these injuires? It seems like there are always 2 or 3 guys pulling out of fights with injuries. I knwo its MMA and you get hur during training, but it seems excessive or maybe its just me.

I would say it has alot to do with fighters not needing the money as desperatly as they did just a couple of years ago. A couple of years ago being a fighter for a living was extremly hard economic life for the mid card guys. Now there is more money in the sport and now pulling out of a fight due to injury doesnt mean finding a part time job until youre healthy.

Main Card Results:
Belcher defeats Cote via Second Round Rear Naked Choke. Good Fight
Mitrione defeats Kimbo via Second Round TKO. Bleh Fight
Stephens defeats Stout via Split Decision. Really Good Fight
Koscheck defeats Daley via Unanimous Decision. Crap Fight, still wasnt as bad as Daley's punch after the fight, hopefully Dana gives this clown his walking papers.
Shogun defeats Machida via 1st Round KO to become the New Light Heavyweight Champ. Great Performance by Shogun, I don't see him handing over the belt anytime soon.

Prelims:
Salter defeats MacDonald via 1st Round TKO (Injury)
Guymon defeats Yoshida via Unanimous Decision. Yoshida is probably cut from the UFC after this.
Beltran defeats Hague via Unanimous Decision. Hague is gone
Hendricks defeats Grant via Majority Decision. Grant lost a point due to groin strikes
Davis defeats Goulet via 2nd Round TKO
Doerksen defeats Lawlor via 2nd round Rear Naked Choke.

Dana has cut Paul Daley due to the punch after the bell. Also said he doesnt care if Daley becomes the #1 pound 4 pound fighter in the world he will never fight in the UFC again.

His level of competition is I think better suited for like the Strikeforce Challenger series

I didnt think Kimbo would win. Meathead might not be very smart, but he turned out to be a very aggressive and powerful fighter. Kimbo just cant fight against decent competition.
