You need to see what other players they bring in and if the can get a center.

I think the Heat will be in the NBA finals against LA, but LA wins to much size under the basket.

Good move by Fisher glad he stayed in LA and hope he gets another ring.

The Lakers are also trying to sign Raja Bell who is still a pretty good defender, I'm not sure how the Heat would scored consistently on that defense.

If they win this year with the help they are going to be able to get with limited resources and limited time then the next few years are going to get ugly really quick! With that said you never know, Wade and Lebron are 2 of the best and Bosh is a top 10 guy at his position.

LBJ got "Z" to sign for 2 or 3 million dollars for a couple years. He can shoot the mid-range jumper but can't do much else. Well, I guess if you're 7'0" you can get a few rebounds and fouls every now and then.

Define contend. They might not win it all but they will still be talented and dangerous. Get back to me this time next year.

IDK, Rondo and perkins are getting better and something tells me that Rondo will work on that jumper this off season. Allen can still play the game and Pierce can as well when he gets challenged individually to play a complete game rather than just score. Doc is a really good coach!

Chalmers' injury won't kill the Heat but won't help either, they need someone to play point and free LBJ and Wade up to cause havoc off the ball. Something tells me that Lebron would be a great screener and he and Wade could really cause matchup problems with a high pick n roll sneaking Bosh in from the weakside along the baseline.

Perkins will be a force next season, and if Rondo does get that jumper down I think he is a top 3 PG in the NBA.

Perkins a force? lol

I dont think he will ever be a "force"...Good defensive center? Yes. Force? No.

The East is between three teams. Miami, Chicago, and Orlando. Dont ever underestimate the heart of a champion, however...Boston is 4th, but could make noise.

If Perkins works his game over the summer he could be a force hes a good rebounder and plays good with his back to the basket. Just need to work on some speed and maybe get a little bank shot down like Howard did and that would add to Perkins game alot.
