Vick To Start

Michael Vick has been announced as the starting quarterback for the Eagles for the rest of the year. As a long time Eagle fan I feel like we have Randall Cunningham back, Vick is back to his prime,,,,,I know what he did in the past but if he is trying to make things right in his personal life then I say leave that alone and let him play football, and I am happy he is playing in Philidelphia.

I'm confused because this morning I saw Andy Reid say that Kolb was starting Sunday. Vick must have had a helluva practice or Kolb must be hurt much worse than anticipated

Hopefully he keeps up his solid play but Sunday was his best outing ever imo. He actually threw the ball consistantly well which is a huge contrast from where was prior to getting in trouble. He always had moments but was never consistantly good at throwing. I'd like to see the Eagles win their division but need to play much better defense.

Vick should have been the starter the year they got him.

Vick looked like the old Vick minus the fact he is more patient in the pocket which I feel makes him and even more dangerous threat at the QB position.

I was surprised when they first came out and said Kolb would be starting this week. You don't bench a qb that is playing good football unless you have a superstar that is coming back from an injury.

and now the rumor is Cleveland is interested in trading for Kolb...even though he impersonated a potted plant in the backfield against the Packers until he was ground into the earth by Clay Matthews (now there is a Browns name!).

Something else Cleveland fans can relate to ( see career of Bernie Kosar) :122245

Vick has played 6 quarters and people think he is back. His full game was against the Lions. Now with him being the starter now it is a different kind of stress. Will he be able to or will some of his past come back on him. Ron Mexico got himself in trouble before. Philly is a tough town to play in if you are not winning. No matter what he is not the QB for the next 10 years. Philly seems to be a team without any direction. Maybe Reid is on his way out.

Not looking good right now for him...out with hurting ribs and down 17-6 in the 3rd quarter. The worm turns! I'm happy for McNabb..pretty much run out of town. Wish the Browns would've drafted him instead of Tim "Crybaby" Couch.
