I absolutely love football, but the pro game just isn't that fun for me anymore.

No doubt, I wish it was just football! I have literally watched 2 or 3 NFL games this year, because all of the political stuff is just a bummer. I'm slowly and slowly not watching it anymore, and just sticking to college ball.

Re: football season and pro board is dead
I don't care about the political stuff at all, mostly because my love for the NFL has been dead for about 15 years now.
It is extremely overhyped and a boring game with 8 minutes of action over a 4 hour period. Not worth it for me, I'll stick to Saturday's and the over abundance of targeting calls.

I will not stop watching my favorite teams but I don't like what they are doing. The Browns and Bengals are about like a car wreck for me it's hard to not look I will not help their bloated salaries buy buying any of their apparel or tickets. I think I read where the ratings were high Sunday overall which is surprising and the Monday night game had the highest rating in two years which isn't surprising because people wanted to see what the Cowboys would do for the Anthem since they said they had in surprise in store.

I stopped watching the NFL when the Browns left for Baltimore.
The only thing I do now with the NFL is that I wait all day for Sunday night just to see Carrie Underwood do the intro and then I turn it off.

I have another theory. I think fantasy football and streaming is killing the ratings. Players now want stats and people watch the Red Zone more.

Players have always wanted stats. Do not see how fantasy is hurting them unless their getting money on the sidedazed&confused wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2017 7:29 am I have another theory. I watch Dallas each week, even if I have to watch online.
I seldom post on pro football because not much Dallas talk on here.
As far as the other teams, I usually watch online because the regional games they off stink.
