With a five run ninth inning Tampa took a 7-6 lead into the bottom of the sixth. Ryan McMahon blasted a grand slam to give the Colorado the home opening win. Jalen Beeks (Arkansas) 1-0 picks up the win, with 2/3 inning of relief. Pete Fairbanks 0-1 (Missouri) took the loss. Ezequiel Tovar (2) blasted a two-run shot, one of two hits for him. He had two RBI for the game. McMahon total three hits and the four RBI. Kris Bryant (San Diego) blasted a two-run shot (1). Former Indian, Nolan Jones had two-hits and one RBI. For the Rays, Ben Rortvedt had 2RBI and one hit to pace the offense.
