Ron English and Ted Roof join Louisville

Ron English is headed to Louisville after Rich Rod cut him from michigan

so did rich rod do the right thing?

Ron was with Carr for a long time and Carr trusted him why wouldnt Rich trust him with his defense?

Ted is there after leaving Duke

Maybe Coach English did not want to be there with Coach Rod. I do not have inside info but maybe he thought it would be best to go coach elsewhere. He is a good coach and Lousiville's defense was terrible this year. Maybe he would like that chance to build a solid defense to improve his chances of becoming a head coach.

He would have been good to have kept at UM. Many head coaches want their own men as coordinators. Someone who they have a relationship with.

Not sure what the appeal of English was? Michigan's defense was nothing special... but here's wishing him luck...

Dont blame Coach Rod for bringing in his guys, but this will be a great pickup for the cards.
