As much as I would like to see Beanie get it this season, I'm sick of seeing a QB or RB win the Heisman. Isn't this award supposed to go to the best PLAYER in college football?

Re: Hiesman Hopefulls??????
Wells has the best shot and heres why
He played extremely well with a bum ankle and if he stays healthy good gosh it will be a nightmare for any defense. and this is coming from a michigan fan too. PLus Tebow wont be as great as last year because there is this guy that transfered from USC because he wants to RUN the ball so tebow wont have to run as much which will probaly shave some TD off this rushing and his passing is good but its not perfect i mean dont get me wrong he is a great player.
The boys from georgia will be mentioned through out the year but wont be there because you got to have something to back you up They have one good season and maybe another one on the way but Beanie and Tebow and even Pat White have back to back decent years oh and tebow already has a heismen.
The boys from Texas Tech the QB or WR should be there who cares if they are just products of a system they amaze people with their air dynamic duo attack week in and week out i mean that had some crazy stats last year and this year should be better.
Now for Pat white well you need to destroy the big east and put up big numbers
losing to Pitt or South Flordia just wont cut it.
Chase Daniels i think is the sleeper he is over in the big12 just doing is thing last year he did his think and before we all knew it Mizzu was a top dawg.
so after all that
beanie still is the pre season favorite

Scott McKillop of Pitt is the answer. Obviously he is not a canidate. They do have a longshot of sorts in LeSean McCoy.If you havent heard of him you soon will.So if Laurenitus wants to be even considered for it he needs to do something like that.Otherwise the D gets no love in the voting....

Not so fast my friend...
McKillop recorded 151 total tackles last season, which lead the NCAA in tackles per game with 12.58
However, it's not his fault his team stinks and only got to play 12 games last year.
Chris Chamberlain of Tulsa beat out your man in total tackles by racking up 165 over the course of 14 games.
Jordan Dizon also beat out McKillop in 13 games with 162.
Also, Curtis Lofton of Oklahoma outbid McKillop with 157 over 14 games.

Re: Hiesman Hopefulls??????
My top 5 no particular order
1. Pat White QB West Virgina
2. Beanie Wells RB Ohio State
3. Tim Tebow QB Florida
4. Knowshawn(sp?) Moreno RB Geogia
5. Chase Daniel QB Missouri
On The Bubble
Michael Crabtree WR and Graham Harrell QB of Texas Tech
5 Dark Horses
1. Ian Johnson RB Boise State over 1700 yards and 20 TDS in 06
2. Colt McCoy QB Texas Looking for him to bounce back from his Sophmore Slump
3. Leshawn McCoy RB Pittsburgh I liked what i saw from him last year.
4. Brandon Saine RB Ohio State if Beanie doesnt stay healthy i look for him to explode.
5. I believe its Dan Lefevour (sp?) QB Central Michigan joined Vince Yound as the only players in college football history with 3000 yds passing and 1000 rushing

Re: Hiesman Hopefulls??????
I have a sleeper Williams out of illinious ... he could be in the running a long long shot to win it but he will have good numbers for a college qb he gets it done with his legs as well.
