Edwards had a nice scrimmage for OU playing outside linebacker and coming up with some tackles and forced fumbles and a deflected pass and a fumble recovery. Transfer QB Boo Jackson threw 3 TD passes....here's an article about the scrimmage:

i think if one of these running backs can step up OU might not have too bad of a year. i think the defense is gonna be pretty stout and a mobile quarterback is always a plus. however with the play of Jackson/Scott (whoever gets the starting job) and no running game, you might as well give the opposing defense our play book. the loss of Kalvin is a huge blow but i'd love nothing more than to see one of these running backs come out and surprise us all.
