It pretty much is in line with the AP Poll - BYU and Missouri lost this week and Florida had a bye.

The only team that Ohio State has played that is above the competition that penn state has played is USC and we all know how that one ended up. Penn State also demolished a wisconsin team that osu had quite a bit of trouble with.

I guess if you want to take the "human bias " out the computer still doesn't have it - USC 10th by the computer and OSU 5th by the computer. Theres no human bias when you look at the BUTT WHOPPIN the trojans gave the bucks.

Its all about the favorites. I say the big ten drop out of the BCS and demand a Playoff system.

We (Alabama) are rated too high. The good thing about losing early is you still have a shot at making up ground in the BCS chase, Teams that lose late in the year during week 9, 10 or 11 drop out of contention. A true playoff system is needed just like EVERY OTHER NCAA sport.

USC got beaten by Oregon State - for the 2nd time in 3 years... Don't give them credit for actually losing to a decent team.
I hope everyone soaked in Texas' destruction of Masquerading Missouri - repeat after me: MISSOURI NEVER WAS THAT GOOD. OFFENSE WINS GAMES, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. NO FEEL-GOOD STORY HERE. OVERRATED.
Oklahoma State will be demolished by Texas and eventually by Oklahoma and will be exposed as the pretender they are. Texas Tech will lose at absolute least 2 more games and with the Big 12 pretenders out of the way, the stage will be set for the elite teams to make their moves.

Wisconsin (lost will to live with loss to Michigan and home loss to OSU)

Yes really. You have to realize that psu has won very impressively over all of these teams while osu struggled with teams like ohio at the beggining of the year. And they did handle oregon state who beat USC.

Did PSU have an injured heisman trophy candidate sitting the bench during their games?

Did PSU have a true freshman, who missed spring practice and prepared during summer as a backup
starting those games?

Did PSU have a patchwork offensive line keyed by a freshman center, who didn't play center
in high school during those games?

Did PSU have a coach that keeps the play calling conservative and play for the lead, then coast
through to the win during those games?

The answer to all of these questions is NO!
