Michigan vs. OSU Ticket For Sale

Post by TheAmericanDream »

I've got one student ticket to this year's game for sale. Seeing as most of the posters aren't students like myself, I would be willing to get the ticket upgraded to general admission so you wouldn't need the required Student ID. Asking price is currently $225 but I might be willing to negotiate a bit. Contact me through PM here or at [email protected] for more info if you're interested.

Dang, since when has the prep board become a place for tickets to be scalped? It's one thing to offer tickets at face value or to get back what money you have invested but another to ask $225 for a $62.00 ticket even when upgraded. If anyone is considering this offer and pay scalped prices, I would recommend using E-bay or Stubhub where you could compare single ticket prices and their seat locations. Here's a link for what they have available now for single tickets:

And what's available on Stubhub for single tickets:

BallParent, I'd be getting the ticket upgraded myself. Again, go to any resource where ACTUAL OSU students are going to be selling their tickets. Don't know your sources but a $62 dollar Michigan ticket in ANY year is unheard of. You're talking about the second largest rivalry in ALL of sports. You're going to pay a decent amount of money.

My dad does the scalping thing all the time at OSU. Many of the guys know him now and try to get "the kind you like, man" every home Saturday. He got 4 tickets for the Texas game in 2005 and paid 200 total because of his wheeling and dealing. Buy, resell, buy, sell, etc. He loves it.

Oh, and I sat on OSU's sideline, AA, row 8 on the 20 yardline for that game.

Haha, wow. I'm certainly impressed. I'm thinking more in the ballpark of $150-$180 now. I'm just a poor college student, you know? Haha. I want a little bit of extra money.

Sorry to say but this year tickets were offered on Sept. 29th at face value to the public. You had to be on at 10 a.m. but I know people that got them.

I didn't try, we already have ours, AA, home side. :12224 Several times this year tickets have been released a couple days prior to the game so I would advise anyone to check back as game day approaches. Not saying this will be the case for the Michigan game but it might happen. For Purdue we weren't planning on going but was surfing the school site late Thursday evening prior to the Saturday game and picked up three tickets together at face value. Also on any game day, go by the ticket office and check on tickets, especially singles, trust me you'll see the scalpers lined up there checking.
Also, last week for Penn State I surfed E-bay Saturday morning, found a posting of two tickets that the girl had posted her end time wrong.....after the game was to end and she hadn't received any bids. Sent her an e-mail, noted that she wasn't receiving any bids, made her an offer if she ended it then so we both could get on the road for the game, she accepted and met me at the Varsity Club to complete the exchange. Got those, great seats for $80.00 bucks each, only $18.00 over face value. What you pay for tickets will depend on how diligent you are in your search of the sources that are out there.

Oh, I wasn't taking a shot at you at all. I just saw this as an opportunity to type about my dad's skills with the horse trading. lol.
