Bill Greene said he just talked to him an hour ago and James Jackson said the rumors are false.

Hmm ? ? :?

Also, my mind is slipping but who was the other de-commit? McDougald? If so, he was suspended this season for something serious and OSU pulled his offer. A long time ago the insiders said that McDougald will be out before anything ever really happened. He has never said anything officially, but he is no longer listed as a commit and now OSU is listed as a team who has offered him.

I heard something similar after I posted, still looking into it. Though I did see that after they said it had been confirmed on Bucknuts neither Nevada or BG saida word. Don't know.

The other kid was the DB from Maryland. I didn't know anything about McDougald. I knew he wasn't OSU material anyway. I talked to him because at the time Marshall thought they had a shot.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that DB. OSU replaced him with another DB from Maryland named Clark. NB swears that the originally committed DB later contacted OSU after changing to PSU to see if he still had an offer and they said no. I think OSU liked Clark and was actually pleased to fill the spot with him.

Also, Bucknuts is now saying JJ is still committed to OSU too. There seems to be a lot of conflicting reports about JJ's abilities too. Some say he is not that impressive. Nevada says that OSU had him #1 on their WR board. That means that he is #1 among WRs that they feel they have a shot at getting, so it would include Marlon Brown. It will be interesting to see how he turns out.
