Cam is a 4-star not 5, but is a lock to be a buckeye.

Good point Dubs. Yeah it looks very similar to what happened at UM 3 years ago when depth got real thin and freshmen were forced to play when they were not ready. I think the overall depth is a little better at OSU though.

Cam is a 5-star on rivals but 4-star on 247 and scout so just depends on which site you prefer I guess. Hopefully your right about a buckeye lock would hate to see a potential lock down corner leave the state

Cameron Burrows is a Buckeye!. Jalin Marshall is next up on the 31st. Good Start to getting that number 1 class in 2013.

Burrows said he was in the process of getting Bam Bradley to commit to the buckeyes so we will see how it turns out.

PSU loses yet another high level recruit to Meyer, Camren Williams is a Buckeye!
4* LB.

Now we wait to see if his teammate, Armani Reeves comes too!

I would bet on it if someone had a gun to my head, but you know how recruiting goes, things change in a second.

That picture is sweet!

The class is at 23. If they are going to get to 25, then I'd like to get Armani Reeves and either Kyke Dodson or Jordan Diamond.

I'd prefer Diamond, but I think Dodson or neither is more likely.

I haven't heard anything re Reeves, but I know he is supposed to meet O'Brian next week, so things could change. I figured Dodson would have jumped ship by now, funny he hasn't. Diamond imo is Blue but I would say Auburn is a close second.

I just assumed he would have jumped quick, I don't know if this is a bad sign or not.

Scholarship math:
OSU must start fall camp with no more than 82 scholarship players.
When Meyer took over they were scheduled to have 62 players returning under scholarship.
This leaves 20 scholarships to offer if no attrition were to occur.

Meyer has full intentions to sign 25 players.
This leaves us with 87 scholarship players entering fall.
Which is 2 over the 85 normally allowed, and 5 over our restricted 82 max.

To date OSU has lost a QB and 3 DBs to transfer. Leaving them with 83 accounted for with a full 2012 class.

Which brings us to today's update. Redshirt freshman FB David Durham will be transferring after the quarter is over. Lowering the total number of fall camp scholarships with a full 25 man 2012 class to 82.

There may still be more transfers, most insiders are expecting around 3 more between now and the end of spring. If there are more, then long time walk-ons might be rewarded with a scholarship. This however is the only way that the Tressel tradition will continue for the next 3 years.

Kyle Dodson will make his decision on Saturday. Though it's reported that he'll simply call the coaches and let them know.

Jalin Marshall will announce on the 31st.

Meyer is filling the defensive staff vacancy, left when Taver Johnson went to Arkansas, with:

Bill Sheridan, former Michigan assistant, Superbowl LB coach for the Giants, and most recently LB coach for the Dolphins. Bill's son, Nick Sheridan, you'll remember was a QB at Michigan.

The official 2012 schedule as posted in the Woody Hayes Center.

When Tressel was coach, the last game said Michigan and had the Block M logo.
