I depicted a hint of sarcasm in BOO YAH's post considering they got trounced 47-7.

Have you ever noticed the crowd in Boise for that bowl, there's your answer.

The folks in Foxboro have a ball in the snow. They fill that place for the the Patriots why not for a NC. No excuses here, I just think football should be played in all kinds of weather not just in someone's home state. The excuses are coming from those who think they should play NC games in their home state. I don't blame these Southern teams. I wouldn't want to play in cold weather and get my hands cold either. May not be able to play as well.
Just checking Bowl games played by Florida, the new National Champ. They have played in 36 Bowl games and 22 times they played in Bowls in the State of Florida. Didn't check Florida State or Miami as much as Florida but I would say that their Bowl record would reflect the same trend. Miami seems to be the team to leave the State of Florida the most. Florida State I know has played in the Orange bowl 8 times and the Gator Bowl 6 times. Haven't checked the other bowls held in Florida.
I agree that these games should be moved around. If they have a National playoff they will have to move the games North. I'm sure some teams will have home field advantage for at least a game or two.
How many folks do you think would show up for a playoff game between Ohio State (105,000) and anyone at The Shoe. What about Michigan(108,000) against anyone at The Big House. Notre Dame(85,000) against anyone at Notre Dame. This could go on and on. No excuses just the truth.
