Michigan Defensive Coordinator

Well its been 16 days now since Scott Shafer resinged as D Coordinator at Michigan after only one season and finishing 10th in points allowed . Shafer was D Coordinator at Standford, Western Michigan, and Northern Illinois.

Does anyone have any idea on who will be the next D coordinator at Michigan. I read where the linebacker coach Jay Hopson may take over he was D coordinator at Southern Miss 05-07. Hey Peake you have any guesses that they may get instead, and why so long to announce Jay Hopson if he is going to get the job.

Jay Hopson is the #1 candidate---but they are also waiting on bowl season to be over---this allows them to start talking to other D-Coordinators.

I have also heard that the Browns D-Coordinator is #2.

Would make things very interesting. I dont know the munbers and really don't time looking it up, but does anyone know who many coaches have gone from one school to the other. I'm talking about OSU to Michigan and the other way around?

That was a pretty good signing by Eastern Michigan. I personally didn't want to see him leave Michigan when he did.
