I think the only thing we need to worry about is Decker there awesome WR. Our offense really needs to get in gear or we won't beat anyone else!

Truer words were never spoken.
The poor offense should get my the next two weeks but after that the way they been playing they dont stand a chance.

"Way we've been playing" implies more than one game. I disagree. OSU could win out by playing like they did against USC, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. If the offense does very little, but protects the ball, unlike in one game last week, they will have a shot in the fourth quarter of every single game. They just need to avoid a performance like quarters one through three of the Purdue game.
Not saying they "will" win out by playing close to turnover free old style Tresselball, but saying they "don't stand a chance" is bunk.

Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
If the offense can just take care of the ball and limit turnovers to 2 or less a game and maybe move the ball a little, we can win or compete in any game left on the schedule. Pryor sucks right now, and he looks that bad because his confidence level is so low. He knows he is playing terrible. Give the Bucks some time to work out the offense and make it manageable. If Pryor could just manage the offense and keep the defense off the field for awhile the defense and special teams take care of the rest. I could see OSU winning a lot of games only scoring 14-17 points a game. The defense can hold any team left on the schedule to 14 or less if they are rested. They just can't stay on the field for 3/4 of the game. If Pryor can get his confidence back and manage the game and clock at all OSU will be just fine. GO BUCKS! Let's hope for a Big 10 Title. That's all we can do!

Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
Jim Tressel, has often said that his philosophy on coaching and winning games is this
1) Relentless Defense
2) Opportunistic Special Teams
3) Mistake Free Offense
Offense is, and always has been the lowest man on the totem pole.
It doesn't have to be flashy, and he's not being graded on style points.
In the loss to Purdue, the special teams weren't opportunistic, and the
offense was far from mistake free.
In the loss to USC, the offense wasn't mistake free.
In the Florida and LSU games, the offense wasn't mistake free.
His formula for winning games works!!! Period, end of discussion.
When one of those areas falters, is when they get upset.

Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
Minnesota has a great football game but getting blanked out 20-0 at Penn State then coming to Ohio State I say we will bounce back with a win 23-10. Have to limit the big plays an shutdown Decker then we will be fine if Decker gets it going its going to be a close game.

IF TP doesnt protect the football and is left in the game, I will sell my tix for next weekend and wont watch another game all year.
I dont see them turning that trash heap JT calls his offense getting any better in a week after it has sputtered for several games now.
We shall find put very soon!

OSU offense looks brutal again to start. No way Pryor runs a 4.3 40 time.
If MINN receivers could catch a pass they would have driven down our throat

Great...more deer in headlights playclock management and we have to burn a timeout. Geez how long has TP played football?
Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
Lifeless football being played but those on offense for the first quarter. On the fourth down play only one player showed excitement when they got the first down. They need a spark and to play with passion for the game not just to be on the field.

I have to disagree. Pryor looks good(compared to how he has played previously) Posey is dropping a lot of passes.
How doesn't Sanzenbacher break up that pass?

Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
At this point, the offense looks a little better than "inept". That's it. Poor decision making combined with some very conservative play calling, and we have a 7-0 game at halftime.
Pryor's confidence is starting to improve, but he's got a ways to go. I wouldn't blame Dane for that interception either, Pryor has had numerous throws off the mark in the first half, and that was one of them. His footwork and mechanics have regressed, and these factors are contributing to his struggles.

Re: tOSU vs. Minnesota
Pryor has made some good throws and bad throws. His TD if the DB would have been in the same area code would have knocked it down. Pryor is getting some yards but Minnesota defense is not the best. They are only up 7 to 0.
I still do not see the offense playing with excitement except after the TD play. To many times the lineman will not even help up the RB. One time a late hit came with a linman standing right there. The lineman showed no emotion or tried to help up his team mate. This offense plays like they do not even like one another.
The defense is playing well but Minnesota is dropping a lot of passes.
