So much competition at ND..and I read on transcripts released by the University that most positions have a depth of 3 people..there was a photo taken of last SAturday where Kelley had like 4 or 5 QB's standing around him taking signals and that didn't incude Christ. I hate to hear this because the program is storied with tradition and is a place for a high education, but looks like he wants instant playing time and it isn't going to happen at ND.

Not going to happen at Ohio either, has to sit this year, and depending on where he goes (which side of the ball), Ohio is stacked at skill positions, and has Bates returning at QB, TE maybe, or LB two areas that Cats are very thin.

Considering OU started classes already I would say he will be sitting at home until winter quarter.

Usually after a kid gets out of it that is the end. I would say his football career is probably over. Good luck with your education. Quality young man.

I agree, why give up ND for OU, uugghhh !!!!! (Even if you have to sit, unless you're a surefire NFL prospect an education at an institution such as Notre Dame is the way to go).

Obviously, education was not the decision here. Here you have a guy who obviously wants to play. You go from one of the most conservative institutions to one of the most liberal. Nice. Like Dutch said, hope it works out for the kid.
