I've said all year that Iowa at Iowa was our toughest game.
Iowa was better without Stanzi last year. He's had such a turn-around from last year, it's absolutely remarkable. Stanzi's TD:INT ratio last year was near 1:1, this year it's more like 10:1. That's just whack.

Ferentz has proven he can coach with the best at times, and sometimes it looks like he doesn't know what he's doing out there. This will without a doubt be a HUGE game for both teams. OSU is going to have their hands full with this Iowa team.

The Senator Vest has the number 1...without a question....undeniably...and without any competitors...the No1 deer in the headlights look in College Football...Against teams who match up with them physically and athletically..They do fine against their weak schedule when they maul their weak conference opponents and non-con games with their ability to FRONT-RUN their inferior opponents....This coach and team does not run a read run game or Read passing scheme...Anybody who is good and well coached AND has athletes do at least one of these ,and many do both, will beat the Vest....Defensively..The Bucks used to have an identity and it was darn good as a very aggressive fire-zone scheme-oriented attacking defense with good fronts and good back-end play...This is not apparent anymore....Their special teams dont have to be discussed..It is obvious...This place pays this guy zillions of dollars for this and his tailored political diatrabes, and to me ,it is sickening...Considering all the great coaches out there.......The thing with Pryor is one of the worst things...Bring him in to be a "drop-back" QB..AND EXPOSED HIM BIG TIME....What he does that presents problems for anyone, considering they dont run a read it down O,is tuck it and run it when he cant look a guy down and get him the ball...There are others...like compliance, discipline, and criminal issues that rival or surpass anyones in the last 10 years....But they are an NCAA cash cow, protected by Delany and his cronies....Maurice Clarett got caught being a thief but he wasnt lying about everything...The BCS has been vey kind to the Buckeyes...Get ranked high early on perception....Play in a weak league...wait for one good football team after another to get beat by another good football team..Osu rises up the polls and plays in the Game....Whats amazing is how many Ohioans buy into this charade  ..But I guess when a state will elect a politicizing manipulator like John Kasich as Gov or retread a Dewine...they will buy into the Senior Senator too

The disorganized rant.

The misspellings and lack of punctuation.

The political leanings.

Yep. A loon.

Sorry, but I honestly couldn't get through that post, and I read some dense and mind-numbing stuff on a daily basis. Obviously, we'll all make mistakes on a message board, but at least space after a few lines to break it up a bit.

Well maybe your reading skills are not competent. Is that a feasable theory?

General, if you dislike Ohio so much why not move out? Why get on a southeastern Ohio site? What do you think people on this site are going to talk about?

Call me a loon too if you want, but I had no trouble reading the above post. Many would probably agree with many points you bring up General, even the objective OSU fans. Oh yeah, charge adds the typical comment....
This is southeastern Ohio. If you don't like it, move out. We definitely wouldn't want anyone to have an opinion that differs.

Listen charge....there are a lot of things to talk about...General Patton's leadership qualities...Terelle Pryor's messed up throwing mechanics....Dick Chaney....Erin Andrews....Barney Fife......The Senator Vest, and his ability to ask questions and then answer them....The price of bacon in Bangkok....all sorts of things...and btw..there are plenty of things I love about Ohio...Bob Hope....Jumping rope...and not smoking Meigs county dope.....The Reds....The Browns......What I especially do not like are the perceptions and the hype of Ohio State football and you. :)

I'm ignorant? Who was the guy who said Kirk Ferentz was the best coach in the Big Ten and went on about Jim Tressel, only to start a thread about how great Tressel is a few weeks later? If stating my opinion makes me ignorant, then guilty as charged, although I will not change it because my team loses a game or someone calls me a name cause they don't like it. I didn't major in history way back in my days of college, but I do know how important history is, like SEVEN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!
