Was waiting to see how long it took to get posted, 4days.

He has a great bloodline, but a bad attitude.
He left OSU because he flunked out, Tress got him hooked up with his junior college, and gave him a list of things to accomplish before he could come back. He couldn't get those done so JT told him to explore other options if he wanted.

That being said, he had over 600 yards receiving as a freshman with limited minutes. If he can buy into Saban's discipline, he'll be a really good get for Bama. If he still has the entitlement issues, then he'll be Bama's biggest headache.

He needs time to grow up just like his daddy did.

Years ago, but not now. Saban's dad played and coached with the Browns. Most of these coaches we tend to talk about (in their 40's and 50's) were from the midwest because most of their parent's (families) grew up and worked in the midwest and on the east coast. Until around the time the Dodger's and Giants moved from NY to LA in the late 50's most of the US population was still east of the Mississippi with strong bloodlines in the midwest and on the east coast. Over the past 50 years or so it's been a rapidly changing geography and you won't see this much notoriety of Ohio coaches for much longer. Just from Ohio alone you have Tressel, the Stoop's brothers, Meyer & Saban for starters. If these guys kids or grandkids ever get into coaching do you think they'll say they're from Ohio ? No, they'll be from Oklahoma, Florida, Arizona etc. Ohio saw it's heyday from around the 1940's to the early 1990's. It's now truly a rust belt state with a has been economy and terrible pro sports teams. Toledo, Youngstown and Dayton have probably lost more jobs than most cities in america the last 40 years and Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland are getting by on mostly Gov't and white collar jobs alone now and people have been migrating to other states (mostly South) for the last 3 decades. By the way, I'm still waiting on the Bungles and Clowns to win something. They provide entertainment but I'd like to see a winner sometimes. Bottom line, this is not our daddies Ohio and it's becoming more noticeable every year.

Nick Saban coached with the Browns as well. He was the defensive coordinator under Bill Belichick with Cleveland in the early 90s.
