gonna be a close one...kansas won the first meeting but sullinger didn't play and it was at kansas, i think taylor vs craft is going to be hell of a matchup im gonna take ohio state in a close one 81-78. sullinger has 20 and 10 and steps up big in the end

Something you may not have realized.
Only 5 schools have been to more Final 4s than Ohio State!!!

Duke, UK, UNC, UCLA, Kansas.

The school with the most Final 4 appearances after those 5...
...OHIO STATE.

Also, before Thad Matta, the OSU record for wins in a season was 27.

In his 8 years, Matta has AVERAGED 27.6 wins per season!

Im going with the Buckeyes, but the reason will be Buford has a big game.

Agree 100% Buford has no other choice but to play out of his mind the next 2 games

Will Sullinger stay out of foul trouble in the first half ? They been getting by with it lately, will it finally catch up to them in this game,I HOPE NOT!

Withey might be the most important player on the floor right now for kansas. His height is giving Sully some problems. Robinson is an animal though. I can see how he has been so dominant all year.

Pitifull shooting performance. Having Deshaun on the bench is putting the Buckeyes in a rough spot.

Tough loss tonight, but overall a solid season. I have never been and will never be a Sullinger believer. Too soft physically and mentally, and if he would have done more playing in the second half than complaining, things might have been different. I'll be pulling for the Jayhawks to knock off the evil empire.

How can you players get to the final 4 and complain that you got fouled while Kansas is going the other way. You lost and you deserved it you big cry babies.... Now for my CATS to run Kansas out of the dome. Go KENTUCKY!!!!!

The Bucks lost their final game of the year.
A very good year, with a great run in the end, that came up short in the style of so many of their frustrating games during the year.

Bigger for the program will be the loses incurred between now and the start of next year.

Jeff Boals will likely be coaching at Ohio U.
Bufford is a senior.
Sullinger will likely go pro
DeShaun Thomas is a 50/50 prop at leaving.
DJ Whetherspoon is a near lock to transfer, maybe to follow coach Boals, but I'd say 98% likely for him to leave.
Less likely but rumored would be a Jordan Siebert transfer. I think he'll stay.

Craft
Smith Jr
Sam Thompson
Amir Wlliams

That will make for a solid defensive core, but without Thomas, they'll struggle to score.

Matta will need to close the deal with Tony Parker to get a solid scoring option.
Problem is, two of his reported front runners are playing Monday night.

Congrats to the Bucks, now we'll see how the offseason develops.

Lack of a bench that once again never got a chance to grow was the biggest reason this game was loss.
