Bucks will look good this week , they will smash MSU , who has zero playmakers on O and its D is artifically puffed up by the terrible schedule they played this year .

Michigan States offense is terrible. They lost to ND, only scoring 13 points. They put up an impressive 14 points against a terrible Purdue team and against Minnesota last week and 21 against a bad 2-9 South Florida team.
I know the OSU defense has had problems but they've also had some pretty good games so against a pathetic offense like this one I really think the Buckeye Defense rises to the occasion. I'm sure Urban has had a nice little sit down with the defensive coaches, mainly Mr. Luke. Buckeyes on a mission - cant see em blowing this one!

Ohio State was scheduled to open this season with Vanderbilt, but the Commodores cancelled the game (Vandy went 8-4). So OSU had to scramble to find a game, and that was Florida A&M. I didn't like the Buckeyes playing them, but it did fill the schedule.

The Buckeyes just completed series with Miami(FL), USC, and Texas. California was scheduled in advance and now they are struggling without Jeff Tedford.

I wonder with the new 4 team playoff system next year, just how many schools will "change" their scheduling mentality. Will the committee assigned to determine the 4 best teams put more emphasis on strength of schedule? If that be the case, then a lot of schools are going to have to stop playing "hyphen U". I know Ohio State will play Virginia Tech the next two years, and after that Oklahoma for the next 2 years. I also found out that in 2018 that the Buckeyes will play at TCU and home vs. North Carolina in back to back weeks, and then TCU again the following year.

The Big Ten overall has to get better, and the conference has to perform better in bowl games, especially the major ones. The respect will come nationally when that happens.

Ohio state actually replaced Vanderbilt with San Diego State at the last minute when Vandy backed out. The FAMU was scheduled already, that was Gene Smith screw up on that part. The non conference schedule was weak and swapping a sec school for SDSU didn't help much even though SDSU went 8-4.

But I agree they attempt to beef up the non conference schedule is there. Along with the teams you mentioned, they also have a serious set Oregon serval years down the road and I believe a series with Texas as well if I'm not mistaken.

At this point all you can do is win the games you're scheduled to play and ohio state has done that for the past 2 seasons.

I hope the haters keep it up. OSU will not overlook MSU this Saturday. Not saying they are a lock to win but I'd say they should. When that happens, they will be invited to the BCS Championship game, probably against Florida St. And no one will give them a chance. And a preponderance of folks NFO (not from Ohio) will be rooting to see them embarassed. Nothing motivates a team to perform for 60 minutes than all that hatred. So keep it up haters! :122245 8)

Part of the reason I don't want to see T osu make the championship is the system is screwing the best two teams ( auburn and Bama) out of being in the dance leaving a good osu team a chance to steal the title. ( I'm sooooo not sold on FSU) Thankfully we will play it out from now on and and 1 loss in the most dominant conference in all the land wont get screwed again. It's un-American .. LOL

If Auburn would have beat Clemson, they would be in the driver's seat. They didnt. End of story.

And the ACC is a pathetic conference. Florida State's non conference schedule is as poor as tOSU's......if not worse. And to play Duke for a conference championship makes it all more laughable.

So the discussion on the table should be why not Florida State instead of tOSU.....not the other way around.

1st off let me start by saying if OSU wins this weekend they absolutly should be in the National Championship. Even though the schedule they played was VERY weak, they did complete a undefeated season in the Big 10. But to try to compare what FSU did to the opponents they played this year and what the Bucks did???? You should be embarressed! The Noles destroyed every team they played and have the single best win this season (Crushing #3 at there place). Both teams finished without an "L" this season, but one was wayyyy more impressive getting there.
