VPI ahead 17-14 at half after trailing 14-0. Tech winning on offense through misdirection. Winning on defense by stacking the box and taking the inside run away. OSU losing through mistakes.Jones started but has been slow (not quick) in getting plays to develop. 2014 game repeat? Maybe 2nd half be different..

Brewer for VT is out for the game after a collarbone injury on the 1st drive in the 2nd half. I feel like defense is going to be the deciding factor the rest of the game. Special teams could also have an impact.

Price is getting beat to death in the trenches. Eli Apple has been lost on several plays and the suspended players making a big impact. Defensive line not,looking like a group of run stopping studs as they should.

They are killing themselves, just like the high snap on 3rd and 1 that made us punt it away.

The pass that was ruled incomplete that was clearly a catch and fumble, recovered by our receiver was a turning point as was the botched punt. Not a big fan of Zeke back there as the return man.

Clearly VT offensive coordinators threw in misdirection passing plays from TTUNs playbook that kept killing us the last 2 years. Clearly Fickell/Ash can't handle the defense without Meyer all over them.

Cardale has played good but we need to get back to short and intermediate passes to unload some of VTs defense from the box.

Hoping they can hang on, get the win and regroup with all starters next week.
