This post was written at Midnight and I know some games still going on.. But the important ones have already played... So let's Break it down. A LOT to Cover this week!
1. Georgia definitely did NOT play like the #1 team.
Kentucky exposed them BIG time tonight. The Bulldogs looked completely off kilter and lethargic. But they ESCAPED with the W.
2. I say we see two coach firings coming from Florida this week.
Mike Norvell got embarrassed by his former team Memphis and Florida Head Coach Billy Napier fell to the Aggies of Texas A&M.. both with their worst starts combined since 1955. One or Both of them I think will be looking for new employment.
3. Michigan is Average... 3 weeks in And still having trouble putting Sub Par teams away.
Only beating Arkansas State at home by 10... Wait til they get into Conference play. If they don't get that Offense clicking. It will be a Long season.. I could see at least 3 or 4 more losses.
4. Texas looks like the #1 team right now.
Ewers was out.. Manning Stepped in and they rolled UTSA 56-7. Fired on All Cylinders
5. Boston College might be the Sleeper of the ACC.
They gave the Missouri Tigers all they could handle in a tightly contested game. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the seasons shows out for them.
6. Outside of the Georgia/Kentucky game... The Backyard Brawl was the Game of the day!
Some Insane catches and back and forth between Pitt and WVU didn't disappoint! WVU Falling to Pitt in a tightly contested game.
7. SEC Teams that didn't look good in Week 3...
Mississippi State got ROLLED by Toledo 41-17
Vanderbilt fell to Georgia State 36-32.
8. Oregon finally looking like Oregon in Week 3.
The Ducks Decimated Oregon State 49-14. Let's see if they can keep the Momentum.
9. Notre Dame bounced back BIG time.
Purdue being on the receiving end of a Shellacking 66-7... Let's see if they can keep on their winning ways.
My College Football Top 10
1. Texas
2. Georgia
3. Ohio State
4. Alabama
5. Ole Miss
6. Mizzou
7. Tennessee
8. Oregon
9. Penn State
10. Miami
Thoughts? Let's hear em!
Valenth's Thoughts from Week 3
Re: Valenth's Thoughts from Week 3
Carrico got injured, left the field and never came back in that WV-PITT game. Hope he is alright.
I agree val, I don't see how them Florida coaches can hang on much longer. I thought they might give Mikey some time since he has had a couple good years but I was assuming they would start beating these inferior teams.
I hate seeing Ewers get hurt. He was having such a good year. He is so smooth and effortless throwing the ball. Strange injury but hopefully he recovers quickly.
Bammer looked pretty good today. Not sure how strong Whisky is. They lost momentum when their QB went down. I can't wait for that Bammer-Georgia showdown in a couple weeks. That will be a biggie!

Re: Valenth's Thoughts from Week 3
Sir Val summed up yesterday's actions very well.
As to the Big 10, Indiana deserves mention. They beat UCLA 42-13 and stand 3-0 on the season. New head coach Curt Cignetti brought in two dozen transfers and has the Hoosiers playing with enthusiasm. Likely won't last, but it is good to see a "have not' program have some success.
Also Nebraska may have turned the corner. They are 3-0 with former OSU QB commit Dylan Raiola .
With OSU being on the bye week, I would not be surprised if they are dropped to fourth in the polls behind Alabama. The Buckeyes have flashed moments of being the best in college football, they are just untested.

They say nothing is impossible, yet I accomplish nothing every day.
