here you go on those who whine about UM saying Ohio instead of OSU.

Emotions of last couple minutes, same question as above.

Molk: “When the interception came, it was kind of a, ‘There it is.’ That’s what we needed to turn. That’s the momentum changer we needed to completely lock this game down. The defense stepped up. They did what they had to do when the time came. This was a team win. It wasn’t an offensive victory. This was a team victory against Ohio State.”

I don't know why I am putting the effort in, but here is another quote from Jordan Kovacs. BTW, people complaining about Hoke and players are the same ones saying Hoke didn't shake hands with Dantonio, which was wrong.

Jordan, what were you struggling with as a defense today?

Kovacs: “Well we knew that they were going to be a tough offense to stop. Braxton Miller’s a great quarterback. He made some big plays, he’s going to make some plays for them in the future.

There are reasons to doubt Miller as a quality QB. People are saying the samethings about Miller as they did about TP after his freshman year. But TP showed more emotion on the field and sidelines. As well as tried to be a leader. Everytime they show Miller on the sidelines it is like he is all by himself. Not talking to others and with a blank look on his face. But the samething was said about Jay Cutler of the Bears last year.

Miller is not an accurate passer even though he is closer to receivers than Bauserman. But that is not saying much. If I had to put money down on a pass that Miller would complete I can think of none. Many of his passes are not spirals.

Miller seems to get a little flustered at the end of games in pressure situations. Even though he completed some passes at the end of games. Just like where he spiked the ball on 3rd down against UM. He just doesn't seem comfortable. Much like a basketball player not wanting to take the last shot to win the game.

Miller has skills which may be better at the high school level than college. He has a lot of work to do which he may or may not be able to improve greatly. If not with his skills he can still go to play in the NFL for the Raiders.

I could care less about what is said before or after the game. The game is played on the field. If you are allowing talk to effect your play then you shouldn't be playing. No excuses

Even though the Team up North won. Talk about changing that next year does not matter if it is not done on the field.

Peake,,where you get they have the number 1 recruiting class? Do you mean this coming year because most I see have Texas ranked number 1, although Michigan University is ranked high,,,, also all these alumni players do some cheerleading when they announce their old teams,Blackledge did it last week and I thought Spielman was fair to both teams although I might have missed some little thing he might have said,,but the games I saw him do Michigan university he was always very complimentary and fair with them.

On Scout Michigan has the #1 in the country, and #2 ESPN.

Not a fan of alumni doing The Game, either side.

Miller has alot of work to do in the off season, as most freshman quarterbacks would have. His timing and touch on his passes and his ability to manage the offense. Although much was said about Pryor, I think Miller has more potential to be a better quarterback. His running ability is far better than pryors. Miller has some serious moves and he gains yards when he runs. Pryor may be fast but not nearly as mobile moving with the ball and avoiding tackles. Pryor was never a great passer himself. Many times Pryor has over thrown open receivers like miller has struggled with. I think the kid will have a great career.

Maybe Miller hasn't bounced up and down the sidelines or what not, but it's hard to argue the kid doesn't take lead and play with alot of heart. He's making plays, taking hits and diving for first downs. He's made alot of big plays this season for a freshman and really has been the only spark the offense has had.

As far as not knowing what to do late in games. He led a game winning drive against Wisconsin that involved him making some key plays to set up some 1st downs and made the play with his feet to find the open receiver for the TD. Against purdue he led a drive in the final minutes to what should have won the game but the PAT was blocked.

All in all I think he played well for a true freshman and what he's had to work with

10. Auburn 15 SEC 3620

I don't think it is that hard to comprehend.

ESPN has been doing rankings for like 3 years, so I tend to listen to scout and rivals who have been doing this for 15-20 odd years. They see these kids about 30 times a year.

Also, Michigan class is nearly complete with 23 players with 3 spots left to fill. Michigan has a great class regardless of if they finish one, two, or three. I don't get what point you are trying to make.

On Miller. Kid is a player, but IMO is nowhere near the runner TP was. TP remember outside of his freshmen year tried to stay in the pocket to prove to people he was a pocket passer. If he had as many designed runs as Miller it would be very easily to see how much better of a runner he is. TP is a freak athlete, Miller is a good athlete.

With that being said, this is on OSU in terms of Miller. He should have never been put into position to start freshmen year. You have to recruit and after TP they failed to do so.

Wide receiver Riqcuan Southward, from Florida (4 start) decommited tonight to Miami and has now committed to be a Buckeye.

Peake, it is not crazy for OSU to start Miller, and I truly believe he is a better runner than Pryor. Miller can cut up the middle or around the end while Pryor ONLY ran around the end.

Enjoy the victory because the train is gonna come back down the tracks next year.

And ESPN does have Michigan ranked #6, which is what C-bolt was saying. I dont think it is that hard to comprehend.

I don't know about the train getting back on the tracks next year but UM is not leaving soon. Not a fan of either team but it looks like the Michigan of old is back. I still think the the NCAA will hit OSU hard with sanctions. The thing that bothers me most is the arrogant attitudes of many OSU fans even after they were caught cheating. Tressel was / is a fraud.......

Good for OSU, Michigan is in the final two for 5-star WR Stephon Diggs, 4-star Jordan Payton, and 4-star Amara Darboh.

5-Star OT's Joshua Garnett and JOrdan Diamond were both on the UM side lines this week, along with Brionte Dunn who is expected to decommit from OSU and be Blue.

I didn't say it was crazy, but freshmen shouldn't have to start in any program. The best programs start very few freshmen, especially at QB. TP was a freak, and why you buckeyes can't comprehend that is hilarious to me. Best athlete at QB the nation has seen in a very long time.

This train like I said will be led by a mostly senior class next season while the buckeyes lose their best wr, best rb, best ol. Excuse me for not thinking you are going to start another streak. Good for you that Urban is coming to town. I think he will be an excellent coach. I feel we have an excellent coach ourselves who gets Michigan and gets the rivalry. We will be just fine.

Good for ESPN, they have been doing recruit ranking for all of 3 maybe 4 years.

I tend to trust the recruiting agencies that have been doing it for 20 years (Scout and Rivals). Scout, who I trust the most has UM #1. Even if they are not #1 they have a great class.

The self-imposed 5 scholly ban for 3 years will also not help the new staff.

Thats a stupid statement. It wasnt the fans that were cheating. Why should we be not still be excited for our football program?

Most, if not ALL OSU fans recognize what was done and moved on. There is nothing that can be done to change it. Most OSU fans remember Tress for all the good that he did for the program, not him turning a blind eye towards a negative situation.

Considering all the talent that walks on at OSU to later get a scholly in their upperclassmen years, this is a scratch, not a fatal wound.

Fatal no, but it will hurt, if you don't think so ask any program who has went through the same thing.

You will lose out on 15 scholly players while UM will everyone else is signing 5 more players a year. It will hurt.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the scholarship ban at OSU was a total of 5 scholarships over 3 years. Not 5 each year for 3 years.

Its not 5 scholarships a year. It is 5 total scholarships over the next 3 years. They are permitted 85 a year, so it is going to drop them to 83-84 depending on the years they forfeit 2 of them.

I stand corrected.

I will be very surprised if the NCAA doesn't add to that.

Peake I was going to drop it ,but why is this ESPN link so hard to comprehend, have you checked it recently??? Does ESPN have two different people doing their rankings? My point???? you say 2,, I see 6 and so does Red,,just got to keep you honest man and rivals has you 3 But why you worry so much like I said these usually change in time anyway maybe you'll go up or maybe drop,I remember OSU went way up after Pryor announced way after the dec day,,you have a great class so far now get over it
