They may be. They certainly would beat OSU with TP playing the way he did today.

It looks to me like he is lacking confidence, and is getting flustered between plays. It looks like he is a guy that presses too much. I would like to see him run a hurry up, and just let it go like he is on a playground. He is always one of the best, if not the best, athlete on the field. He needs to use it, instead of being hesitant.

Ohio State is still one of the best teams in the Big Ten. But, they can still win the Big Ten if they win out

If (and that is a very big IF) OSU wins out and Iowa only has the one loss to OSU true they would both win the Big 10 with one lose each but wouldnt Iowa go to the Rose Bowl cause the last time each went was '97 for OSU and "91 for Iowa?

No. Head-to-head is the first tie-breaker. I hope we get to worry about it though ;-)

TP blows as a qb. Tressel's act is getting tired as well. The offense is obviously broke, and if Tressel ain't willing to fix it ( i.e. hire an offensive coodinator and a qualified QB coach), then get his arse out of here too. What a pathetic showing today.*

Moot arguments...tOSU will lose at least 2 more games. T

he chickens have come home to roost on JT. Tressel's nepotism and pathetic hires on his staff are becoming painfully obvious now. Bollman, Sicilano and Dick Tressel do not belong on a major D1 staff. These guys are duds and Tressel himself has shown that his ability to call plays is not cutting it. Sad thing is NOTHING will change because JT is still riding the 2002 championship he fluked into with Cooper's players. Truth hurts.*

Head to head is the first tie-breaker. So, if OSU beat Iowa, and they were tied at year's end, OSU would go.

If there is no head to head, then "most recent to go" becomes to tie-breaker.

This was a big letdown for me, I thought oh Purdue were going to beat them easy then what happens we loose. But I think the Buckeyes will pull it together an cause some damage in the Big Ten, were young. I must say though after all the experience this year from bucks we should be a top 10 team all year next year. I'd especially love it if Tressel wouldnt be so conservative.

my god, can osu puleeeese get a QB coach. pryor has the worst mechanics i have ever seen. every throw is off his back foot and his arm is no where near on top there are sophomore high school QBS better than he is right now. who in the %$%^ was his hs coach he must have sucked at fundamentals also. good grief are pee wee QB threw a slant last night that was perfect. pryor can barely throw to the flat without aiming it like a dart. put him at reciever and recruit a REAL QB and a REAL coach and start playing the offense that all the colleges are playing.

What would Tressell do if a fan asked for a refund like the fan did with Oregon Coach Chip Kelly? Coach Kelly did get his team turned around where as OSU keeps doing things the same way and hoping the offense might do something or the special teams and defense scores.

they would both be 7-1 in the big ten. and OSU will have beat Iowa, so they would get the bid before Iowa

hopefully this is a wake up calll for tressel and his offense...i think they can win out but itll be hard and it wouldnt hurt anything if tressel gave bauserman a shot for a series or two and see if it gives the offense a spark but that drive were ohio state scored to make it 26-18 , thats what terrelle pryor needs to do you seen him step into his throws he made except for the last one but they will be fine it might not hurt em to go to a non bcs bowl like the capital one or outback

Thanks Orestes for the Info I had forgot about the head to head thing but as art
_vandelay said this is a Moot Issue cause OSU is going to lose at least 2 and I think
3 more Big 10 games

And if Pryor dont get some smarts in a hurry whatever bowl they end up in he will lose

At the first of the year I questioned how smart he was after he made his statement about Vick and he hasnt done any thing to show me that his IQ has improved.
You have to have something behind the eyes and between the ears to be a big time QB I dont think TP has it He just cant think fast enough for D1 college football. PERIOD

8-4???
Please, for the love of God, tell me you're joking.

At worst they will be 10-2, but very likely going to be 11-1.

Either way, they'll be in the Rose Bowl as the Big Ten champ.

The worst is already here with 2 loses and do you really think with the way Pryor is that they can win out? They will have to go for a 10-2. And to do that they must have one win in the last three games and no dublin I AM NOT JOkING Take off your rose colored glasses and look at things, it will make a difference. 8-4 looks more realistic all the time.
