I have seen better play calling at gield powder puff games.

Do the Ohio State coaches know that passing is permitted in football?

Sorry to be grim, but Fickell looks emotionless after HIS defensive player commits a personal foul against the Illinois QB to give Illinois a first down. Would much rather him show some emotion vs just more gum chewing and talking to the mystery man on his headset.

So, what kind of game is this.. lol Ohio State is playing not to lose rather than trying to score points. Granted Miller is banged up, but do they really expect him to complete three passes that are spread 10 plays apart? How can he get any rhythm? Stupid..

Sad is what this is, but on the bright side the defense is playing great.

OSU offensive philosophy:
"You don't have to start winning, until you're losing!"

Even when Miller does throw the ball he is not close. Need to throw shorter passes first. Miller does not throw a nice ball and with the wind maybe it is best he does not throw much. Maybe bring in Guiton to throw some.
OSU is still winning on the road at half.

They seemed to answer some of the questions about throwing the ball in the game. The interviews and the int seems the wind is more of a factor. OSU just needs to finish the game unlike last week.

luvbigcats wrote:Illini in this one the Buckeyes will be lucky to win two or more ball games they are terrible they have no qb and cannot run the football. They need to clean house get a whole new coaching staff, bring someone in with no ties to the program and get all the foolishness going on up there straightened out. Ohio State is considered one of the top programs in the country but yet they can't recruit a qb in my opinion they have not had one in the 40 yrs that I have been alive and if they think Braxton Miller is the guy there is more foolishness going on up there then I thought. The Big ten will be won this year by Wisconsin they have been the most impressive team I have seen this year in the top 25 and maybe seen ever in the BigTen and I don't even like the Badgers. The BigTen is probably the most over rated conference in all of college football.
Another English Major, I presume? lol

Defense defense defense! Simon was a beast. Nice to get boom back too, ran the ball hard and helped alot. Miller made some nice plays as well with his feet. Good to get a nice win on the road.

Btw, Zook is a idiot lol

Happy for Fick! his first signature win,and I thought the line played well today giving Miller time and nice holes for the backs even though they stalled a little in the fourth, and what can you say about the defense,, what a difference a week can make!
