Got some big shoes to fill, esp. Howard. He really rose to the occasion when it counted most. I wonder if Day will bring in another transfer or is the guy already there? Not seen much out of the other ones. I would say if they want to make a serious challenge to defend their title they will have to bring somebody in with experience like Howard had. Defense will take a hit too. Still way too early to even think about it, just enjoy the moment, they don't come around too often. A win over ttun is great, but a natty is super special on another level.

The way way to early 25 polls have OSU on top, but with 16 or so starters leaving State will be in a rebuild of sorts. I think Saying has all the raw talent to be a championship QB, but will have growing pains, especially against Texas and Michigan . I do think they will sign a vet like Chuganov for insurance. Still the Bucks will have talent.

Bucks will pick up some good transfers before next season. Wouldn't shock we if a well-known QB comes into replace Howard.....Gun slinger.

The only rules about paying players or transfers is there are no rules. Only fix is for colleges to classify athletes as employees, who can then unionize and bargain collectively. A CBA then could define rules and responsibilities for the players, the NCAA, and the schools. While I enjoyed OSU's championship, I really have not been euphoric about it like 2002 and 2014. Maybe that comes with middle age, maybe its stories like this that ruins it.

I hate it. Everybody knew it would be a disaster when it started. They need to at the very least get rid of that early transfer period in Dec. before teams have even played their bowl games. If Smith isn't money hungry maybe he will wait around to see what who they bring in at QB. He will want someone experienced who will get him the ball. If they go with the youngsters on the roster, he will probably hightail it out would be my guess.

Oh. Wait. They're still trailing Michigan there too. As well as LSU, Clemson, Georgia.... Man it must be tough knowing your best season in program history still has a loss to THE University of MICHIGAN
