4 of those were ahead of ohio state in the standings.

finally game week again. I don't like byes, much less 2. but I know exactly why they are doing it. and I don't blame em at all. especially before we had the big 10 championship game, our season would be over 2 weeks before everybody was playing conference championship games, and frankly the big ten got forgotten about. now they'll be playing when everybody else is at the end, whether it's ohio state or not.

TOSU did trash the State University of New Jersey 56-17. Total dominance in score and stats. Yet I still do not know if the Buckeyes are improving and becoming a team capable of winning the BIG or if their opposition has just been weak. I came away from watching the game on TV more confused about State's prospects than ever.

things definitely start getting real now for the buckeyes with the meat of their schedule coming up.
I honestly think that Rutgers and Maryland will develop into very good football schools the next 2/3 years and strengthen a big ten that has been lacking.
